What this website records
When a public page is viewed, the website records the visitor’s IP address, page path, visit time, approximate country, referring website’s hostname (when available), and broad browser, operating system and device categories such as Chrome, Windows and desktop. The site also records when a section heading remains visible for at least one second, a CV download link is clicked, or a project video is played. These actions are counted separately from pageviews and at most once per page load for each section or item. Statistics are visible only in Sina’s password-protected control panel.
Referrer paths, query strings, arbitrary URL fragments, advertising identifiers and the raw browser user-agent are not stored. Section identifiers and file paths come from a fixed list of this website’s own content. A referrer may be unavailable because of your browser’s settings. Country estimates can be inaccurate when using a VPN, proxy or mobile network. An IP address does not reliably identify one person.
Kept for no more than 90 days
The dashboard covers up to 90 days. A scheduled daily cleanup removes records once they are 89 days old, allowing time for the next cleanup before the 90-day limit. The analytics service also removes expired records when it runs. The website does not create archives of visitor statistics.
Browser privacy controls
No analytics consent popup or analytics cookie is used. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals prevent collection. An earlier “No thanks” preference stored by this website in your browser continues to be respected.
Hosting and owner access
The hosting provider may maintain ordinary access and security logs or backups independently of this dashboard. These follow the provider’s settings. The owner control panel uses an essential session cookie for signing in. Visitors do not need an account.

GitHub and LinkedIn have their own privacy practices. For privacy questions or requests to remove a visit record, contact info@sina-shiri.com. An approximate visit time and IP address can help locate the record.
